S I C K

I HATE being sick...I thought maybe it was just the weather change. Then I thought, maybe it's just allergies. This morning I woke up with a fever and there was no way I was going to church. I text messaged Stacie and asked if she could teach my primary class and she agreed. It turned out okay because no one from my class showed up! haha But I have felt awful all day. I will start to feel better for an hour and then all of the sudden it all hits again. I hate it. Not that there is any one out there who loves being sick but I just thought I would say it. Thank goodness for hubbies because I would not have made it through the day without Cody. He kept Tyler entertained and tried in any way he could to help me out. Thanks Cody, you're awesome and I love you. Tyler was actually really good today too. He hasn't been taking his naps though because the second I put him down he poops! Its so frustrating so I am trying to get him on a new schedule. Grrrr. I just had to say I was really grateful for our safety though. Friday night at about 1 I came out and slept on the couch because between my sore throat and constant stomach pains, and Cody starting to snore and then stopping ( he isn't feeling super well either ) I was not getting any sleep in our room. By the time I fell back asleep I must have knocked out hard because at about 3:30 in the morning a drunk driver ran the stop sign doing about 80 on my street and lost control of her car and hit the car across the street from us. It was a brand new truck she hit and was still going so fast when she hit it that she pushed it into their other fairly new car and then into their garage. It could have easily gone the other way. she could have hit Cody's car which was just to the left. That would have been bad. Not only was this woman drunk BUT ( and this saddens and sickens me ) she had her 2 year old daughter in the car with her and she wasn't in a car seat! WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE. I guess as the police were taking her away she kept saying, "Please don't take my baby away" and the police officer told her she should have thought about that before she got behind the wheel drunk! So any ways. I'm grateful that we were watched over and taken care of Friday night. Even if I am sick and miserable, we didn't lose Cody's car and possible mine to a drunk driver. I feel pretty lucky and I am proud that Tyler has parents that take care of him. That's all for now...

WOW!! I am so glad you're all okay! I can't believe some people! I really thing Heavenly Father needs to rethink his decision of letting some people procreate! I hate it that people get little blessings of children in their lives and some friends of mine can't.
