Staying Green Y'all

I think even if you aren't trying to change things in your life to make the Earth better, you can still do little things without effecting your life, that will help dramatically. Recycling can be a pain depending on where you live but it makes me feel better about my self and my kids future by doing so, so I do it. One thing I think is something that can be a pain but NEEDS to be done is disposing of electronics the right way. We don't need that crap in our land fills. So do yourself, your kids and your Earth a favor and copy and paste the link below to my "other" blog and read this very short article.

If you are lazy and don't want to have to do that, go to idealbite.com and sign up for their free daily email green tips. Also make sure if you do so, you sign up for the mama one that is geared towards families. I find these WAY more useful for me in my life at this present time. Thanks again, and enjoy your day!

Daddy's Home

Look whose here!

I too this picture before he left for work this morning. She was just staring at him and she had her hands on his face and it was so cute. I couldn't resist taking a picture. Poor Tyler hasn't seen daddy yet BUT we are heading to Killeen to meet him for lunch in a couple of hours. He is SO excited. He keeps telling me, "I'm so glad daddy is home!" Carrots MMMMMMMMMMMM

Kayla had her first food last night. It was fun. She had no idea how to swallow and just kept pushing it out with her tongue. But she did smile real big for me every time I took her picture. She also got a hold of the spoon for a while. Any ways. here are bunch of pictures. They were all so cute that I couldn't decide which ones to post, so you get to see a bunch

Friday Night

So here is the story y'all have been waiting for! Ty has been coughing a lot! It has gotten to the point where he ends up gagging and throwing up! Usually only at night. Well Friday night we went to El Tapatio's like always and Aunt Stacie wanted to get Ty to eat some rice, which I was all for. She holds up a fork with rice on it and says, "If you eat a bite of my rice, I will buy you a chocolate" and my very smart boy says, "How about a toy?" haha So Stacie says, "Sure if you eat a bite of rice, I will buy you a toy!" He says, "Okay" and reluctantly takes a bite of rice. Almost instantly he vomits all over himself and on his water cup! It startled us and while still half gagging Tyler says, "What toy am I getting Aunt Stacie?" and I just started CRACKING UP! I mean, I had tears in my eyes. We used a billion napkins trying to clean Tyler up and the little bit that got on the table and the whole time I just kept laughing. Stacie was feeling HORRIBLE and I kept telling her don't worry about it because it was the hardest I had laughed all week. The Roundy boys ( Kurt and Cody at least ) both have strong gag reflexes. I told Stacie, "It's a good thing Cody wasn't here or he would have thrown up too!" To which Stacie says, "Well it's a good thing Kurt wasn't here he would have thrown up too!" then we laughed harder. Kurt has this family vacation story he loves telling where one kid threw up in the car but Dad refused to pull over and ALL the kids ended up throwing up in the car and Mom made Dad clean it up! haha I told Stacie, "Well if it is anything like the family vacation story Kurt likes to tell, YOU would be the one cleaning it all up!" It was good times. We went to the Dollar General after wards and Ty got to pick out a toy ( after we went home and changed his clothes of course ). He chose a Transformer and he LOVES it. Madison picked out the princess crown and wand so that's why I took pictures of those at the play ground. So here it is again, Tyler's victory toy!

He loves it and is constantly changing it back and forth! Thanks for the toy Aunt Stacie, even if he had to throw up to get it

Just Really Quick

I just remember a funny story I wanted to tell really quick. so my sister Kim was a cheerleader in college and then after that was a cheer coach of a high school, then after that was a coach at a cheer gym for all ages and NOW works at another gym where they do mommy and me classes and things like that. Well, while she was here she basically held Kayla the whole time unless she was sleeping. Kayla really likes to stand up and I have often wondered if she could balance on someones hand. We were at our favorite Mexican restaurant eating dinner and she was holding Kayla. Kayla was standing up and it made me think of it. I say, "Hey Kim, I bet she could balance on your hand if..." Before I could even finish the sentence she cuts me off and says, "No she can't I already tried!" I just started laughing. I thought it was hysterical that she had already tried. Okay you probably had to be there but it was pretty darn funny.

Living Life

I have been slacking on the blogs lately. I am having a rough week with lots of coughing, throw up, teething and no sleep! Today has been kind of rough and I just sat down with Kayla to feed her/ eat my Weight Watchers meal. I clicked on Shutter Sisters and they had a lovely post that inspired me. Last night we went to the playground and I took this picture of my niece Madison that I absolutely feel in love with! Here it is completely unedited, just the way it looked on my camera when I took it.

Isn't it lovely? And if you know Madison, you know this just sums her up. So I went crazy editing it since I loved it. Here are the rest of them

Later on tonight I will post the rest from this play ground trip. I actually got a lot of good shots. It was a nice evening out.
