I am starting a new week tomorrow for the 365 project and was curious if anyone had any suggestions for a theme? I have a huge list written down that Stacie and I made before I came here but I am too lazy to find it. Any one have a thought, leave me a comment or e-mail it to me. THANKS!

Pine Valley

We went to Pine Valley this evening for an activity for my dad's ward. For those who do not know, my dad is one of the singles wards for Dixie collage. So we went and I got to take tons of gorgeous pictures. Not all of them turned out great because of my flash. I kept turning it off but then the pictures would blur a little. But when I got home and put them on my lap top I fixed some of them and the rest I wish I would have known they were blurring. But oh well. I am SO tired and it is way late. SOOOOOOO I am only going to post a few pictures of the scenery and then post all the pictures of Tyler tomorrow. Hope you enjoy these though and look forward to more tomorrow.

CRAZY LIGHTENING

Okay so there was some seriously crazy lightening at my parents house today. I was trying to get some pictures but without a tripod it is so hard. For one you don't know where to shoot and once there is lightening and you click, the camera takes a second to respond and the lightening is gone. Then its too dark and your shutter stays closed for about 10 to 15 seconds while you miss a really cool one waiting for it to open back up and process. Yeah, frustrating but I still managed to get a couple. This is just a picture post people. Nothing else. Hope you had a great day...

Keep forgetting

I have been meaning to post picture from Sunday since...well, Sunday! Since it is Friday and I am not doing anything at the moment I thought maybe I'd go ahead and post them. I am waiting to see if my breakfast stays down or not ( which I think it's going to ).

Sunday afternoon Tyler was all excited to see Aunt Kristy and Noah and they decided to not come over. So we decided to take him to a play ground someone told us about. By the way Jim, NEVER AGAIN! haha The play ground was a little to old for him and even though they had a smaller playground for kids his age, he wanted to play on the cool big kid one. It was a very pretty park though. It had a stream running through it and a nice walking trail. There were a million people there too because someone was having a birthday party. Even the adults were on the equipment.

We went for a walk for a while and I got some good pictures. I was trying to get some good ones of my parents and they weren't cooperating the whole time. How dare they right?! But any ways. Here's what I got.

A bug?

When I went to bed last night, I was hungry and my head was pounding. I tried to eat something before I laid down but it was just making me feel sick. I ended up going to bed around 11:30 or so. I was hoping some sleep would cure the head ache. Boy was I wrong. Every time I woke up to go to the bathroom, my head was still pounding. It was kind of depressing especially since I knew I had a doctors appointment the next morning and I did not want to miss it.

Tyler and I woke up around 8ish and I felt awful. I got him breakfast and some milk and decided I needed to eat something as soon as possible so I could take some drugs to hopefully cure the head ache. I was making scrambled eggs and about a minute before they were done I felt it. That awful feeling you get right before you puke! You know the one where your mouth starts filling up with saliva? I turned the stove off and ran for the bathroom. I made it just in time. I hate throwing up when you haven't eaten anything. I would much rather throw up food. I know..this isn't exactly something you want to read but too bad. :) I informed my dad there were eggs in the kitchen if he wanted them. I laid down on the couch for a while with Tyler crawling all over me. He can't stand me laying on the couch without laying, sitting or just simply touching me. After about an hour I asked my dad to make me a piece of toast. You know how everyone always says dry toast is good for an upset stomach and I was seriously STARVING! It took me a half an hour to eat 3 bits and after swallowing the last bit I had to run to the bathroom again. I threw up the toast....much better then the first since I at least had something in my stomach that time. I laid back down a prayed I'd feel better.

I managed to make it to my appointment and my doctor said I probably had a bug. He said one was going around. Tyler hasn't been feeling well either but he didn't have any throwing up. My appointment took all of 5 minutes. They weighted me ( which I think I was a pound less then I was last time which thrilled me to no end ), took my blood pressure, listened to the heart beat for about 10 seconds and then talked to me about down syndrome and all of that fun stuff. I declined the testing and then scheduled me for my ultrasound in 5 in a half weeks! WOO HOO! I can't wait. My appointment for that is September the 22nd. It's nice because they do it in the office and back in Texas I have to go to the hospital to do it. Hopefully that goes well. So the appointment was a little disappointing and I felt awful but at least I made it.

I got home to hear that Tyler had pooped for my dad which again, thrilled me to know end! haha The rest of the day I spent on the couch or in bed. My mom made me some jello but it takes an hour or so to sit. In the mean time I was soooooooo hungry that I finally made some soup. I drank broth for a while and it took everything in me not to throw that up too. Once I was able to keep it down for a bit I ate some more. By that time I was really STARVING! Right before nap time I had half of the jello and then passed out with Tyler. When we got up I was so hungry! I ate the rest of the jello and my dad brought me home some Del Taco. So far, so good. I feel crappy, BUT the head ache is almost completely gone now and I haven't thrown anything else up! WOO HOO Hopefully tomorrow I will be almost back to normal. I promised pictures of my cute boy so I made a collage instead of posting them separately. Hope you like them because I just think they are so cute! I especially like the one of him with his head tilted. Heehee

Man...

I thought I was slacking on my blog but apparently I updated it yesterday! haha Oh well. I took the cutest pictures of Tyler today at the play ground but I didn't load them yet so you'll have to wait. I know the suspense will kill you but trust me, it's worth it. Actually my poor baby isn't feeling well. He has a cold and has had a stuffy/runny nose all day. He has been sneezing a lot to. Yesterday I went on a walk for those wondering how the exercising was going. I did about 25 to 30 minutes of some good power walking. Today we put Tyler in the stroller ( which is a miracle that he WANTED to get in and STAYED in ) and we walked for an hour. I was walking with my mom and she hurt her toe yesterday so we didn't walk super fast BUT I was pushing my fatty Tyler who weighs 40 lbs himself plus another five pounds or so for the stroller and everything in it. So I was beat when we got home. I threw Tyler in the bath and then put him to bed. My head is pounding and I am feeling way sick. My head has been hurting a lot lately which sucks because I don't really want to use any drugs. The same thing happened when I was pregnant with Tyler. I had a period of two weeks or so when I had a migraine every day. Cody would come home from work and I would have ALL of the lights in the house turned off! haha I guess I'm going through the same thing right now. Hopefully it passes like it did the first time. Tomorrow I have a doctors appointment. I am a little anxious since its been over a month and I am curious to see what is going to take place. I am hoping for another ultra sound since I was bleeding the last time I had an appointment. I am hoping that he wants to take a look and make sure everything looks okay. So we'll see. This is just kind of a babbling blog since my head hurts and I am about to fall asleep. Maybe tomorrows will be more exciting. Tomorrow I'll post the super cute picture of Tyler and maybe a couple of others. I have decided I need to stop posting so many pictures during the week because then when I do the 365 at the end of the week, you have to see pictures for the second time. Oh well though....seriously, I need to go to sleep.

Discovery Park

Here are the pictures from discovery park. I was too tired last night to do it. I thought I was getting to bed by 10:30 and I was an hour late. Opps. But at least I did some legs lifts and things I knew they did in my DVD before I went to bed. I slept pretty good which was nice. Any ways...on to the pictures.







That last picture I like because it looks like he was flying in the air and really he was just stepping over something on the wooden toy he was on top of. I thought it looked cool.




I was into the back shot yesterday! haha I really liked how both of these turned out. I especially like the black and white one. I choose the other one for our header and I think I am going to change it already...maybe in a couple of days. There were a lot of pictures I took that I thought would work well there. Isn't that funny? While I am taking pictures I will think, "Oh that one would make a great header for our blogger" Obsessed much?!?!





Then climbed up onto of this fake wooden police car. I got some cute pictures of him which is hard. He doesn't like getting his picture taken! Then Tyler climbed up there with him and I got some cute pictures of the two of them.

We are potty training today for the first time in like 6 months. At first when I told Tyler we were gonna use the big boy potty today he started crying. He is WAY tired from yesterday still and really sensitive. We are using the bribing method. I bought him M and M's and told him if he sat on the potty he could have one. I also made him a potty chart because he is really into stickers. FINALLY after asking him for an hour if he wanted to sit on the potty for an M and M, he agreed. He sat on the potty and then washed his hands, put a sticker on his chart and ate an M and M. WOO HOO! Let's hope the rest of the day is okay and that he doesn't get sick of this!
