Projects

I have had lots of projects over the last month or so. I have been wanting to post them but some were not quite done and some I just hadn't taken pictures of yet. I FINALLY finished a dress that I made for Kayla out of two bandanna's. I LOVE this dress. I have not tried it on her yet because we had a busy day. Tomorrow I hope to get it on her. Here is a picture

The dress is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much cuter in person but hopefully I can get it on her tomorrow and take a pictures.

Another dress for Kayla I did was this

These are both bad pictures BUT basically what I did was take a new born onesie and a new born gown that were the same fabric and I cut them both and sewed them together to make a dress. It is so cute too. I also love it because it is extra long and wide so it should fit her a long time still.

Next, I made Tyler a crayon roll. That was pretty easy but took a little longer then I thought it was. I made a Buzz Lightyear one for him and a Dora one for Madison

I didn't get a picture of Madisons though but her is something else I made Madison

And a skirt for kayla

This is another bandanna and then just some white trim. Well, actually, I bought a twin sheet set on sale at walmart for FOUR BUCKS! SCORE! That is what I have been using for lining and what not. I LOVE the skirt but it is not wide enough for her so I am going to make it twice as wide by adding a whole other side. I was going to do that originally but then got lazy. That's what I get for getting lazy.

Her is another thing I just did this weekend. I bought a cork board on sale at Walmart for a dollar fifty. I wrapped it with a piece of a dollar table cloth I got at the dollar tree.

Then I cut out a flower, added some ribbon so that I could hang a pen on it. Then I cut up some paper for my grocery list.

Next, I LOVE flowers and they seem to be really popular right now. I went on line last night and was just looking at all the homemade flowers on ESTY.COM and thought to myself, "12 bucks for that!" So I figured out how to make a couple of the popular ones that are selling for WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more then I think they are worth.

I made this one for a hair clip for Kayla but I just didn't get it on a clip yet. I think it is way cute!

I like the way this one came out too! Kind of boring BUT I wasn't about to use cute fabric on an experiment, you know?! Any one want a red and black flower? haha

And last but not least;

This one I think is SO cute when used with cute fabric! This was SO easy! You just cut out for circles, fold them in half, then fold then in half again and then sew them together in the middle! Add a button and some tulle and you are done! Seriously, people are selling these puppies for like 12 bucks! It took me 5 minutes to make! Now I just need to find someone who thinks this is cute and might want it! haha

And now for some fun pictures. Kayla is starting to stand up on stuff. The other day I went to the bathroom and when I came back, this is what I found!

And then I went to get her up from naps and found this

My life has changed forever! haha

Also, my in laws printed a picture of Kayla on canvas for me and I got it in the mail today! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I LOVE IT! I can't wait to hang it

How cute is that?! I can print on canvas but mine does not print quite as big as there's and I already have a canvas of Tyler on my wall that they printed for me. So now, since they made me one, the pictures will be the same size! YEAH And LASTLY ( I promise! ) The CUTEST little profile picture of Kayla. She was laughing at Tyler. She LOVES her brother.

I meant "did you do", not "did you did". I sound like a hick!
