Texas Part 3

Our next adventure in Texas was with my great friend Sarah!  She lived with us in Gatesville and after we moved they ended up moving to the San Antonio area so we got to spend some time with them when visiting Kade.  We got to eat lunch with them, which was our tradition when we got together all the times before.  It was so cute because Kayla and Colin hugged and then held hands.  They were still pretty little when we moved so I thought it was so funny that they just instantly hugged and were acting like best buddies.  We got to see their new house and then we went to go feed some ducks.

After this we decided to go get some ice cream before we headed out.

It was great fun and we can't wait to see them again some day!!!

After this we started to head back to Cali.  On the way back we stopped at the Carlsbad Caverns.  I have been dying to go here for years so it was nice to finally do so.

This is a picture of Mexico.  We waved hi to Aunt Kimmie, Uncle Ender and Jacob!!!  :)  Then there were tons of awesome skies and you know me...I LOVE a pretty sky

And next we have the Thing?  My best friend Myra talked me into going to the thing when here and I made this drive right after I got married.  Yeah..it's something...

And finally...those GORGEOUS California mountains....they are there I promise, but you can't see them through the smog.  :)

And then we made it home and we were exhausted!!!  It was a great trip and we made lots of great memories.
