Baby Bedding

I finally bought some baby bedding for Kayla. It came in the mail today and I was so excited to open it. It is even cuter in person then it was on line. And it's so much softer then I thought it was going to be. Lots of velvety softness! It is a lot of pink, which if you know me it's not my color, but for a little girls room I figured what the heck. I have plain brown curtains so I didn't want there to be too much brown in the bedding. I think the one I choose is gonna look perfect! Here's a link to the bedding on walmart. Check it out!

365 week 24

I have no idea if the number on these weeks is right, but whatever. I FINALLY finished my week for Thanksgiving. WOO HOO. It has taken me forever to find all the pictures and this is why I HATE getting behind on it. I need to just start saving them daily and now that I am home, I probably have more time to do so. We'll see...


NOv 23 Day 1


We made wheat bread. It was a recipe we got from my friend Loni and it turned out AWESOME! If you want the recipe let me know. We did it by hand but because it was ALL wheat flour it was really hard to mix it. It took us about 30 minutes to get all the flour mixed in and my mom, dad and I were taking turns. haha SO if you have a mixer with a dough hook, it would probably help a lot!

Tyler found his Halloween bag and in it were this Dracula teeth that glow in the dark. He loved them and played with them for the next couple of days.

We went to take my car into the dealership just to get something small fixed on the trunk. This tree was right in front of where my dad parked and it was so pretty! It's hard to get how deep the red was on film but it was so nice.

This is my sister Kristy, Becky and I. We have known Becky since I was about 13. She has always been a good friend but through marriages and moving and what not, I hadn't really seen her since her wedding, which was the week before mine. She was coming through St. George and so her, her husband and 2 year old stopped to hang out for about an hour. It was lots of fun! :)

I like to call this one, "I kissed a girl!" haha Noah wanted SO badly for his cousin Bradlie, to meet his other cousin from his dad's side Hannah. They brought her over late on Thanksgiving and they kept kissing. It was kind of funny.

We all met at Dorango's for lunch after my mom got off of work. Before we all met, Scott and Bradlie fell asleep on an arm chair and I snuck down stairs to take their picture. Everyone together now, "AWWWWWWWWWW"

Baby photo shoot

I talked about taking photo's for someone who had just had a baby. We went over to their house to try and take pictures. The baby was really fussy and after being there for about an hour I hardly got any pictures. So we decided to try again the next morning. As if I didn't have enough going on because that was the morning Cody was coming home! WOO HOO It actually gave us something to do before it was time for Daddy to be here. I never posted pictures so I am going to post a couple of the ones that I thought turned out really cute. Since it is not my kid, I will not be posting names, just pictures. Let me know what you think. I thought they turned out fairly good for taking them inside of a house on a couch, with no lighting or anything like that. I can't WAIT until Kayla is born and I can take her picture too! EEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Black Friday

I know this was quite a while ago but I thought I would go back and talk about our day. We had a pretty good day. We started off with a little bit of shopping. Not a lot, but we did shop for like an hour. Then Tyler and I came home and had naps. Then when we got up we had dinner and then we had a birthday celebration. It was actual Aunt Kimmie's birthday. We also celebrated Noah and Tyler's birthday as well. Noah loves his Aunt Kimmie and so a couple of years ago he decided that his birhtday was also November 28th instead of the 10th like when he was actually born. So on the 10th of November no one is allowed to tell him Happy Birthday! My sister even talks to his teacher every year and tells her not to say anything on his actual birthday. HAHA SOOOOO we had a triple birthday party. I bought Noah a Dora the Explorer Pinata for his birthday. Let me explain. Noah HATES Dora the Explorer. HE even taught Tyler to say Dora is evil. : ) SOOOOOO I thought maybe a Dora Pinata would be fun because he could beat her and he LOVED IT! We had it be a surprise and we had Uncle Scott and Kristy put it up in the back yard while he wasn't looking.

Awwwwww, isn't she cute! Then we gave Noah a bat and had him close his eyes as his mommy took him outside. The second he saw it he ran for her and just started swinging. It was hysterical. Here are some pictures of him beating her!

Look at the pure joy in his face! haha Notice in this picture that it is JUST her head. Yeah the candy was all over the ground and the grown ups were all picking it up and Noah was still beating Dora's head. Hysterical!

We then went inside and had cup cakes. Kim wanted some red velvet ones so her and my mom made those and I made regular ones for Tyler. I also bought some Walle cupcake decorations for the tops. Tyler and Noah loved those.


Noah blew out the candles one by one and then said, "Okay I am 10 now!" We won't tell him that he had already been 10 for like 3 weeks.

I was going to load a couple of other pictures as well but blogger is not liking the pictures I wanted to upload. I think they are too big so I will shrink them and upload them later. At least I feel like I am some what caught up now, even though I am not! I STILL need to do my 365 project ones and I started a new week so I REALLY need to get those done. It's nap time so I will be back in a bit...

Picture time

We went to the playground yesterday and TYler was in HEAVEN! It had been soooooooo long and we were there for over an hour and it was very windy. After we got ice cream. He had so much fun and I got so many cute pictures of him that I thought I would share some. The first picture I am posting just because I thought it was funny that my tummy got in the way! It's getting big and has a mind of it's own I swear!

Pregnancy cravings

Yeah so I don't really get cravings of any sort while pregnant. Last pregnancy I ate a LOT of pickles but I am someone who eats pickles randomly any ways. It was more then normal but it was not unusual for me to eat them. This last year or so I have been trying to do more vegetables with my meals. I also tried to up my fruit in take because I was trying to lose weight and be healthy. My biggest surprise craving this pregnancy has been what I am eating right now. A baked potato with steamed broccoli and cheese! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM I seriously can not even tell you how many times since I have found out I was pregnant I have had this for dinner or lunch. So good, and not swimming in fat like most meals. I know there are healthier things to eat, but for me, this is about as healthy as I get and it fills me up every time. I love it!!! :)

What a crack up

Kids say the funniest things! Tyler didn't get a nap yesterday so he slept in until about 9:30 this morning and then took a 2 and a half hour nap. When I got him up he had poop all over which was wonderful and stunk up the whole house. I threw him in the bath tub and put his blankets in the washer. He has been in the BEST mood since his bath. Just now he announced, "I miss daddy!" Which I knew Cody would be thrilled to hear since Tyler hasn't really said anything about him being gone yet. I was talking to Cody on line so I said, "Do you want to talk to him on the phone?" To which Tyler's response was, "No momma, I'm busy!" haha He just kills me sometimes
